Dear Reader,

Prayer never goes out of style. There are no circumstances, events, or personal challenges or joy that exceed the wherewithal of our supplications to reach the Divine. God awaits. God listens. God takes our thoughts, words, and feelings into His heart.

Lent is the season for many Christians to renew or deeper their relationship with God by setting aside extra time to meditate.

In that light, I offer the following prayer:

. . . May your days be graced with beauty and delight

. . . May you be gentle yet firm with your actions of confession and repentance

. . . May you feel the guiding touch of the Holy Spirit deep within your soul

. . . May you feel the loving presence of God the Father

. . . May you welcome Jesus as your kind and compassionate companion in all ways

. . . May you experience true surrender of your will to the will of the Lord

. . . May you come to know, more fully and completely, how very much God loves you

. . . May you embrace the gifts He has given you, the service He has called you to, and the next  step He shows you on the path of your unique journey

. . . May your prayers and petitions overflow with thanks and gratitude as the Holy One works all things to good in your life

Ad Marjorem Dei Gloriam—To God Be the Glory!
